How can I send my files to you?

Once you’ve prepared your files, place them in a single dedicated folder, compress this folder into a ZIP file, and upload it via our secure submission portal

What should I include in my submission notes?

Include any specific edit requests, desired effects, tempo information, key signatures, and technical details that can guide the mix/master process. Time/bar marked annotations are also helpful.

How do I ensure my files aren’t lost during transfer?

Compressing your files into a ZIP archive minimizes the risk of data loss and makes the transfer process more reliable.

What happens if there is an issue with my submitted files?

We will contact you promptly if there are any issues or if additional information is needed. Ensuring your contact information is accurate and up-to-date is crucial.

How do I start a project with you?

Begin by submitting a detailed inquiry through our online form or contact us directly via email or phone. The more information you provide about your audio needs, whether it's mixing, mastering, or sound design, the better we can serve you.

What happens after I submit my project details?

Our audio experts will review your submission and assess your project's specific requirements. We aim to provide an initial project assessment within 24-48 hours, along with a clear project scope and quote.

What is required for project approval and deposit?

Once you receive and review our project proposal, a 25% of total project cost deposit and a signed project agreement are required to secure your slot and start the production process.

What is a preliminary mix, and what does it include?

The preliminary mix we send within 24 hours of project start is a basic version focusing on edits to ensure all files are aligned with the project's direction. This mix does not include extensive effects or mastering processes.

How do you handle client feedback and revisions?

After receiving your feedback on the preliminary mix, we refine based on your comments. Regular updates will be provided, making necessary revisions, usually within a 24-48 hour turnaround.

What happens after I approve the final mix?

Upon your approval of the final mix, you will be asked to complete the outstanding payment. After that, we finalize all deliverables, including various file formats and detailed documentation of your project’s settings.

What kind of ongoing support do you offer post-delivery?

We remain available for any adjustments or new projects even after delivering your final files. Our ongoing support is designed to foster a lasting relationship and support your evolving audio production needs.

Can I request changes to the project scope once it has started?

Yes, changes can be requested, though they may affect the project timeline and costs. It’s best to discuss any significant changes as soon as possible to align expectations and outcomes.

What are the best file formats to submit for audio projects?

We recommend submitting audio files in WAV or AIFF formats due to their lossless quality. Please avoid MP3s or other compressed formats as they lose significant audio fidelity.

How should I label my files before submission?

Please name your files and folders clearly to reflect the content they contain. Use a consistent naming convention like "Vocals_Chorus_Take02" or "Guitar_DI_AmpName." Indicate if tracks are Mono/Stereo or if they have specific characteristics like different sample rates or recording methods.

What should I avoid when bouncing my files?

Avoid processing such as normalizing or dithering your files. Maintain the original dynamic range and quality to ensure the best mix and master from our end.

What sample rate and bit depth should I use?

Maintain the highest possible sample rate and bit depth to preserve audio quality. We recommend using at least 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz at 24-bit.

How should I prepare my track stems?

Provide individual track stems for each element, such as vocals, guitars, and drums, with no effect processing. Include any vital effects that shape your sound but ensure they are labeled clearly.

Can I include reference tracks? Why are they important?

Yes, including reference tracks helps us understand your stylistic preferences and the sound quality you’re aiming for. Please provide specific notes about what you like or dislike about these tracks.

What is proper gain staging for bouncing files?

Set your stereo output buss fader to 0dB (unity gain) and ensure that the true peak of your tracks does not exceed -6dBFS. This helps maintain adequate headroom for mixing and mastering.

Should the master buss have any processing?

Please keep the master buss free of any processing like limiters or compressors. However, provide a version with your processing for reference to understand your sonic vision.
